Learn how to use Tufts MC’s CTMS.

All researchers at Tufts Medical Center are required to use the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) as part of their research operations. This self-paced training demonstrates how to use the CTMS and its integrations to successfully register and manage a study. Upon completing this course, learners will receive a link to register for a live session training where they can ask any remaining questions and cover topics not covered within the self-paced modules.

Tufts Medical Center clinical research coordinators and other study staff must complete this training in order to receive access to the CTMS.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe the benefits of using the CTMS.
  • Identify points in the research process when data should be entered into the CTMS.
  • Identify which studies are required to be entered in CTMS.
  • Describe the process for activating a study in CTMS.
  • Manage ongoing study data in CTMS.
